The awesome benefits that we were able to experience and enjoy by living near the border of Montana’s Big Sky and Wyoming’s Cowboy Country are reflected in the attached photos:
Some of the photos are of our family’s adventures, and some were collected to reflect the amazing sights of the area. Some of the photos are from the neighboring State Park, the entrance of which is some 9 minutes from our house. Others are from an hour or more. But, whether 9 minutes from the house or an hour and 9 minutes, or 90 minutes the drives are by no means like driving in Washington, LA, NY, Portland or virtually any major city.
Some of the beach and water photos are of some of our favorite places. While a few of the photos of buffalo, bear, elk, horses and other animals you'll see walking on the road or alongside a road or highway were taken by us driving to a restaurant, or to one of the numerous beaches or driving for an afternoon or evening of shopping in Powell or Cody Wyoming.
The majesty & magnificence of the amazing sites & experiences that are available in this awesome part of “Cowboy Country” and the West have remained in many, many ways untouched and unspoiled.
The fun, awesome adventures, incredible sites, and joyous times that our family experienced over the past nearly 20 years in the area are unforgettable and will live with us throughout our lives.
We hope that you will fall in love with this amazing place as have we.
Wishing for you & yours, the “Happy trails” and the Happy life that we've been able to enjoy in this awesome area.
Sincerely,
Christine and Family

During the Summer season you hear Japanese, French, German, Chinese, Swedish, Hindi, Norwegian, Dutch, Hungarian, Italian and more languages spoken nearly as often as you hear English. - People come from around the World to experience the charm, the allure, the entertainment, the Amazing Buffalo Bill Wild West museum and the Western style “Cowboy” life. They come for the daily plays & Wild West days re-enactments that are acted out in the open on the Streets of Downtown Cody. They come for the nightly Rodeos, the entertainment, the restaurants, the shops, the unforgettable attractions and fun sights of this part of the Rocky Mountains.
If you want to live and experience what the West was all about, what the West was like, this is it. - This is “Cowboy” & Big Sky Country. – You’ll experience Cassie's Night Club, Buffalo Bill’s Irma Hotel, the Shoshone and the Big Horn. - Here roamed Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull, Chief Joseph, George Armstrong Custer and the Seventh Cavalry. See the photos, the history, the weapons, the artifacts, even the actual clothing worn by the likes of Calamity Jane, Annie Oakley, Sitting Bull, Buffalo Bill and many, many more. The amazing part about living and being here is that the life that you live & experience here is always surrounded by the magnificence of the location, - the awesome magnificence of nature. –
This is the West. - The American West. - Life here in the “Cowboy” State remains a " Cowboy” Life. ... - This was, is and remains Cowboy Country USA. – You’ll find nothing like it anywhere else.
Christine
