We love living in the country. - Living in an area where you’re a close, virtually traffic free hop to being able to experience the beauty, the awe-inspiring majesty of some of America’s most magnificent River’s, Mountain ranges, varied topographies and State and National Parks. Yet ...
At the same time you can also have the "in-town conveniences & comforts" such as; Walk to school, to the library, hospital, movies, supermarket, hardware store, drugstore or fast-food store. –
You too can have & experience such “best of both worlds” when your home borders Wyoming’s awesome “Cowboy Country” and Montana’s “Big Sky” Country. - The location is awesome. You’ll actually be located between well-known and historic Mountain ranges. - To the west, Heart Mountain and World-famous Yellowstone National Park. To the east , north and south, the Big Horn Mountains, the Big Horn River and several State and National Parks. You’re literally Minutes from both the Big Horn & the Shoshone Rivers. You’re minutes from magnificent, (to me, breathtakingly shocking), Devils Canyon. You’re close to Ancient Cave Drawings, Rodeos, Wild Horses, Roaming Buffalo & a near traffic free excursion to World renowned Cody Wyoming w/its famed museum, art center, restaurants & trendy shops.
Having lived in bigger & big cities the advantages of the “near traffic free” part of living in Cowboy & Big Sky Country becomes evident & a joy. You can get to more places and see and enjoy by far more things in a shorter period of time. Living in this awesome area you can enjoy nearby & easy to get to hiking, biking & walking trails. - You’re near to amazing wildlife viewing, waterfalls and skiing.
You can enjoy some of the country’s best Fishing, Hunting and Snowmobile Trails while at the same time you have the convenience of nearby Shopping, Restaurants, and majestic Parks.
And, one more thing … You can experience and enjoy all of the above while at the same time potentially gaining financial benefit from the fact that Wyoming, the “Cowboy State”, has a low sales and property tax, (less than $92 a month on our house), and Wyoming has NO personal income tax & NO corporate income tax. That's NO like in Zero!!!
So, If you can work remotely, or are looking for a super location for a vacation home, future retirement home or are looking for an amazing, super fun, adventurous place to live experience and enjoy... there's lots of photos of the amazing scenery, wildlife & awesome vistas of the surrounding area on this site for you to see. But better yet, do stop by the Cowboy State. ... Come check it out and discover it for yourself. I think that you too will fall in love as did we.
